Casting week 4

Gio is going into his fourth week of casts. The doctors are really happy with how things are looking. He will need a Tenotomy, which is where they cut the achilles tendon to loosen it up a little. Currently his foot points down slightly, so loosening the tendon will allow his foot to come up flat. They will do this procedure while he is still in cast and he won't be too effected by it. It will only take about 20 minutes and will only require a local anesthetic. I think this will happen during the last sets of casts, so a couple of weeks away. His feet are looking really great.
