A visit from Melanie
My favorite design buddy and all around great friend visited today. Always good to have a fresh face around here to get us re-sparked, and the risotto was perfect.

Kath and Dan
Erin's mom Kathy and husband Dan were in town for our nieces 3rd birthday and stopped by for a visit. As usual the kids were on their best behavior, keeping their public image clean.

Gio: 7 lbs. 5 oz. / Sofia: 6 lbs. 8 oz.
It is so hard to tell when you are with them every day, but we have confirmed they are getting bigger.

Hips & Feet
Gio and Sofia had their hips checked out for Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip or DDH. Erin had undeveloped hips when she was born, so it was something that they wanted to check out. Both kids are a-okay for the hips. Gio also got the 3rd round of casts put on. The Orthopedic specialist said everything looks great. Three casts down, three to go.

Clubbing
It sounds so medieval, but Giovanni has club feet. A pretty easy fix, 6 weeks in casts that will be switched out each week. After that we move on to 6 weeks of leg braces that eventually will be worn only at night. So here we go.
